About Peace
In one sentence
Peace is a menu bar app that keeps your Mac awake: when you step away, a game of Pong drops out of the notch and your cursor becomes the ball.
Longer
Peace keeps a Mac from going to sleep, like a mouse jiggler, but with a game instead of random nudges. After a set time without a key press or mouse move, anywhere from 10 seconds to 30 minutes, a game of Pong opens in the notch. The cursor becomes the ball and clicks at every paddle hit. Moving the mouse or pressing Esc hands the Mac back.
Anyone nearby can play along: Space takes the left paddle, which turns green, and the arrow keys steer it. An optional Coast Clear Check uses the camera to make sure the user has really left before the game starts; nothing is recorded. Peace never starts while the camera is in use or an app is full screen, and it can lock the screen instead of playing.
Peace lives in the menu bar and works on Macs without a notch too, where the game opens in the same place at the top of the screen. It's free to try for 14 days; a license is a one-time purchase on Gumroad.
